Philosophy of Care
At Collective, I am committed to providing safe, respectful, inclusive midwifery care for clients of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, and family structures. My services include full-spectrum well-person care, contraception, and midwifery care throughout the childbearing year. I believe in the power of relationships, and value the time I spend with you, getting to know you and your family as we build confidence and trust. As your partner in healthcare I provide the counseling, education, and support you need to make well-informed decisions that align with your personal values. I am passionate about the process of natural birth with minimal intervention and am happy to attend community births covering a broad area in northern and central NJ (and select portions of the NY border area). It is my privilege to honor your labor and birth as normal physiological processes. I trust in you, your body, and your abilities.
